The KickingBird Golf Club is owned by the city of Edmond. There are seven members on the advisory board, serving three-year terms. Board members are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by Edmond City Council. The purpose of the board is to review and advise on the expenses and revenues of the golf course. The board aids in establishing course policy and procedure. They serve as advisors to the city council who approve or deny golf course projects, policies, and rate adjustments.
