University of Central Oklahoma athletes are putting on their dancing shoes and teaming with faculty members and staff for their own version of a popular television show.

Proceeds from Friday's “Dancing With the Bronchos” dinner and auction will benefit the school's athletic programs.

The money will help buy uniforms and athletic equipment and pay for travel to competitions.

The dinner and dance contest will be from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Hamilton Field House.

Tickets are $50 for the entire evening or $10 to watch the dance contest and attend a dance that will follow. Tickets can be bought at the athletic department or by calling 974-2500.
