I had been told by many that this was a great place to eat, and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere made this an especially good experience. My dad and I were able to really catch up without having to shout to be heard. The pizza was divine!

The Greenhouse is a casual fine dining spot in Denton, Texas that offers reliable bar service -- and a revolving menu of inventive libations -- and consistently tasty food. A humble building is swaddled in some of the city's best landscaping (we think the hotspot might use all native plants, too). It's the kind of place to show off to out-of-town friends, and the perfect local spot for the shorts and flip-flops crowd to relax on the patio. If you're a vegetarian, make a date to sample these dishes: black bean tamales (I enjoy the musky Southwestern top note of this dish) whole wheat curry zucchini griddle cakes with plum chutney (savory and sweet are a match made in heaven, here) and the clean-your-plate goodness of polenta and black bean chili. The restaurant's hot spinach-artichoke dip is famous in Denton for its rich, buttery flavor. Sometimes the service at the Greenhouse is painfully slow, but its always friendly -- and the food is worth the wait.

This place has a great outdoor dining environment. They have the best sweet potatoes fries! Try them w/ their guacamole ranch... YUM!
